Oh, I love this song? What's it called? You don't know? Damnit.

What's this song I have stuck in my head? Doo-wop female singer with male rapping...
Some of the lyrics (yes, I've tried googling, with no avail):
"Ooh, and I just can't wait to see my baby. I'll be home tonight." (That's the woman's part)
The song features a female singer and a male rapper. It's played on a local hip-hop station, but they never do back announcements on those stations. It's a new song as far as I can tell, but it sounds like it's from the 60s or something. A piano is a major part of the song.
(And no, I can't believe I'm "wasting" a question on this.)
Does anyone know this song?! It's driving me nuts!

Response by poster: It's definitely not Usher. I checked the station's website, but they don't seem to update it often. FWIW, I heard it on Power 106.

Response by poster: C'mon, artychoke, is that a joke? No, it's not Justin Beiber. That doesn't even sound like a doo-wop song! Give me more credit than that! ;)

Ooh, I wish artychoke was right. Lyrics aren't quite right, but everything else is, so my guess is Tightrope.

Ha! I was sort of kidding, sort of hoping, I guess. I'm amazed by the surprise Ludacris in that song every time I hear it, so I thought of that for some reason. It's like being rickrolled by Luda or something, the way he pops in.

Response by poster: Not Tightrope, but a much closer sound than any of the other songs!
Thanks so far for everyone's suggestions. :) Keep 'em comin'!

Best answer: Reflection Eternal--Midnight Hour featuring Estelle
(Reflection Eternal =Talib Kweli & DJ Hi-Tek)
The lyrics aren't online yet, but it's got the lyric you quoted (around 1:15).

Yeah, it sounds like neda's almost certainly got it; that Talib Kweli track sounds exactly like what you want, complete with Motown sample running through it.

The sample in that tune, by the way, is from the Shirelles' "Mama Said."
