What songs reference a redheaded person (directly or obliquely)?
The Zutons' Valerie
I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Dolly Parton's Jolene
Your beauty is beyond compare,
With flaming locks of auburn hair

Dylan's "Tangled up in Blue:"
Early one mornin’ the sun was shinin’
I was layin’ in bed
Wond’rin’ if she’d changed at all
If her hair was still red

Vaseline by The Flaming Lips

I know a girl who reminds me of Cher
She's always changing
The color of her hair
She don't use nothing
That ya buy at the store
She likes her hair to be real orange
She uses tangerines

T-E-A-M (The Baseball Game) from You're a Good Man Charlie Brown
Two men were on with two outs and me
With one strike to go
Then I saw her- this cute little
Red-headed girl I know
Firmly I vowed I would win it for her
And I shouldered my bat and I swung...
You can probably guess how it ends.

her eyes are black as leather and her hair is killer red, "All American Girl," Melissa Etheridge.
years go by and if I'm stripped of my beauty and the orange clouds raining in my head, "Silent All These Years," Tori Amos. This may or may not be true, but I've always thought "orange clouds" referred to Tori's hair, which is red.

Fell in love with a girl. Another White Stripes song:
Red hair with a curl
mellow roll for the flavor and the eyes for peeping
can't keep away from the girl
these two sides of my brain need to have a meeting

Flight of the Conchords- Ladies of the World
If every soldier in the world
Put down his weapon and picked up a woman
What a peaceful world this world would be...
Redheads not warheads
Blondes not bombs
We're talkin' about brunettes not fighter jets

Richard Thompson's 1952 Vincent Black Lightning.
Said Red Molly to James that's a fine motorbike
A girl could feel special on any such like
Said James to Red Molly, well my hat's off to you
It's a Vincent Black Lightning, 1952
And I've seen you at the corners and cafes it seems
Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme
And he pulled her on behind
And down to Box Hill they did ride
And so on.
