What does the inscription on this ring/prop mean?
From the Iron Man movie. Bigger version here. As far as I can make out the letters, it's "IBKT" and then maybe "HS9". Is it an actual SEKRIT MESSAGE inscription put there, or is it just some kind of lot indicator from the cheapo factory that made it?

Best answer: The diamond/V mark indicates that it is costume jewelry made by the Vargas Mfg. Company (link).
