Where to buy shoelaces?

I have a couple pairs of shoes that I wear to work, but are not real fancy. The shoes are still in good shape but they need new laces. Where to buy?
The shoes, being somewhat trendy, do not come with the typical skinny dress shoe laces you see available at Target. I'd like to replace them with the original laces (OK, I must be dreaming here), or something similar. But where can you get them?

Check at a shoe repair shop. They frequently have a good selection of hard-to-find laces, and they're usually willing to order something if they don't carry it.

I'd say almost any shoe repair shop is a better bet than a Target or CVS/Walgreens/etc.

a big shoe store like DSW will probably have some choices as well.

Famous Footware always has a wall of laces by the cash register. Or at least all the ones I've been in do.

You'll probably have to buy new laces at a shoe store or maybe a shoe repair shop. Even a store like PayLess shoes should have laces.
Pull out a tape measure and measure the length of the laces you'll need because they come in various colors, shapes and lengths (shapes, meaning thicker boot laces, thin dress shoe laces, flat sneaker-type laces, etc).
Sadly, be prepared for the new laces to not be as nice as the originals. Oh, they'll look great, but they won't stay tied as well as the originals did. This is because it's getting harder to find cotton laces. I don't know what they're making replacement laces out of these days, but god, I hate 'em. Then again, I don't drive, so I walk far more than the average person does. You might not notice this at all.

I ordered my laces on Sunday evening, got them Wednesday morning.
