Is Louis Egan related to Thomas Egan?

Was Louis A. Egan once president of Union Electric of St. Louis related to the St. Louis gangster, Thomas Egan of Egan's rats?

Not mentioned as such during a cursory googling, but such information is not likely to be online unless it was notorious during his lifetime.

Chicago Tribune has an obituary in their paid archive.

FamilySearch has no listing.

A better place to ask -- and you may not get an answer for, literally, years -- is the Egan genealogy forum, or the St. Louis Genealogical Society.
