FindThisSongFilter: A probably-Irish song about a pacifist soldier who allows himself to be shot
All I can remember from the song is that his friends and possibly father called him a coward for not wanting to fight as a boy.
Although he's a capable marksman, when confronted by enemy soldiers he purposely allows himself to be shot rather than continue fighting.
It turns out, there are a LOT of Irish songs with pacifist themes...
