Help me find/remember this "odd" fairy tale short cartoon series
I saw a fairy tale short cartoon series when I was a child. It's basically series of "satirical" fairy tales. I remember was that the voice acting was in Received Pronunciation (BBC English). But here's the detail:
1. The Jack and the Beanstalk story was satirized as a poor working class Industrial Revolution hype. The mother made the gold-laying chicken into a soup. There was a scene with counterfeiting bills.
2. The Puss in Boots story was about the puss engaging into the stock market. The ogre in this story turns into a cellphone.
That's all I know.

It wouldn't have been the Fractured Fairy Tales portion of the ancient Rocky and Bullwinkle show, by any remote chance? These are from the early 1960s, but no doubt there have been lots of reruns.

Anyway, if that looks slightly familiar, it seems that there were 91 tales all told, so it's likely there were several Jack and the Beanstock versions.

Response by poster: Nope, it was not the Fractured Fairy Tales. Sorry.
