What type of bird is this and where is the sound coming from?

What type of bird is this? It seems to chirp frequently all day and all night. How can I pinpoint where the sound is coming from?

The audio is recorded out of my apartment window which faces a hill with many other apartment buildings. I'm making a wild guess that it is somebody's pet bird? What tools can I use/rent/buy to find out exactly where the sound is coming from?

It might be a Common Koel.

Here's the wikipedia info for the Asian Koel. I do think that is the sound you hear, they are common in HK. As far as spotting them- I'm not sure how it would work with the apartment buildings but you could use triangulation if you can find a couple of friends to help.
