What's are some of your favorite slam poetry performances?
Saw something inspirational, something changed the way you thought, or made you go "wow"? Post it here.
Some of my favorties include:
Tommy Bottoms's "Basic Economics"
Shannon Matesky's "My Space"
Gabrille Bouliane's "Don't You Dare Waste Your Fucking Time"

My favorite of all time: "Say Yes" by Andrea Gibson. Saul Williams is also amazing (love "Black Stacey").

Ernie Cline goes for the laughs so it's basically like stand-up, but pretty well-known and good stuff for all that. Did it change my life or inspire me? Probably not, but I lol'd and still do, which is good enough for me. Sample tracks available about 2/5 of the way down that page.

Response by poster: Thanks for everyone's input. Those were all very good suggestions, especially Taylor Mali's "Conviction."
