Don't call me Mellow Yellow

Need some yellow songs, please!
I need to pick a good song to play to my House (we're yellow) but would like to steer clear of Coldplay.
The song needs to have no profanity at all and preferably mention the colour yellow often.
I'm thinking of Bright as Yellow by Innocence Mission at the moment, but would like to come up with something a bit more up-beat and up-tempo.
Any suggestions?

Big Yellow Taxi - Counting Crows Joni Mitchell
Wow, I have no songs in my library with the word "yellow" in the title.

Response by poster: I love the idea of Yellow Snow by Zappa, but it only gets mentioned at the very end of the song and might get missed once the kids a laughing about Nanook.
Yellow Sub, Mellow, Brick Road, all a little to, well, mellow.
Yellow Taxi (Joni, surely???) Again, too late a reference to yellow, and easy to miss.
Really aiming for lots of mentions of Yellow and something you can get enthusiastic about...

Response by poster: Itsy bitsy teeny weeny...would really not fly at my school! Donovan is out since it gives equal coverage to two opposing house colours.
I hate We are Golden with the intensity of a thousand angry suns...but it is a great pick!
More like this please (so I don't have to choose it!)

MC Frontalot - Yellow Lasers
Ditty Bops - Pale Yellow
Devendra Banhart - Little Yellow Spider
and of course, selections from Yello.
You could also find songs which were gold, golden, about butter, or lemony in some way.
You probably won't like:
Sparklehorse - More Yellow Birds
or
Ken Nordine - Yellow

I was thinking something by yellowman might fit, but I'm not sure Yellow Like Cheese is really what you are looking for. There's Yellow River but it's pretty old fashioned. Do you hate Coldplay or are you just tired of that song? Because there might be a decent Yello mashup that is more rockin, though I couldn't find one with a quick search.

Gucci Mane - good pick, however the kids I teach prob wouldn't understand a word of it! wrong demographic. Thanks for expanding my search terms with "Lemon" though...

Good pick with Ken Nordine - I though of it already since Blue basically saves the day!
ainsley - Yellow Rose of Texas is a good one - The military aspect of it could be good for rallying the house...I won't use it this time, but it's on the playlist for future meetings.
I'd love to introduce the kids to Jill Scott, but maybe another day.

Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree...this song may have led to the yellow ribbons we see today for the US Servicemen. I always thought the song was about a guy just getting out of prison, YMMV

A good Coldplay mash-up might still do the job, though...but otherwise you are the winner!
