psychiatrists in NYC or Hudson County NJ

Any recommendations for psychiatrists in NYC or Hudson County NJ, on AETNA student coverage?

I don't know how people do this - at the moment I can't really deal with calling 25 different doctors and getting no answer, or an appointment 2 months away, or worse still someone who takes my appointment and then bails.
I'm already taking meds and urgently need them renewed, with maybe some tweaking.

Perhaps you could try looking for a convenient time using this site. I've never used it before, but it seems to be narrowing by your insurance coverage, giving you a manageable list of names, and noting appointment times within the next week.

Aetna also has a feature called "DocFind" which I tried. It only spit out one result in NYC (one phone call is more manageable than 25!):

She appears to be a clinical psychologist, but perhaps she can refer you to an in-network prescriber.

Then I searched in New Jersey using DocFind. When I limited it to "psychiatry, general" it only gave me 12 names. I know that's a lot of calls, but I doubt you'd end up calling all 12. Maybe two or three calls and you'd find someone who could see you. Here are the names:
