Adobe Lightroom is displaying all of my photos as blank gray boxes (see here)? How can I fix this?

I had to install Adobe lightroom today on Windows 7 and when I tried to import my photos all that showed up was a gray box in the shape of the photo? I tried reinstalling it again and it didn't fix the problem, anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

Which version of Lightroom are you using?

Lightroom 1.1 would do that in MacOS, Win XP and WinVista when it ran into memory problems. If you didn't have enough memory available, it would display thumbnails and images (part or all) as gray boxes.

Also, are your video drivers Win7 compatible and the latest versions?

Also, how large are the images you're working with?

Best answer: I've had a similar problem last year. Try setting the Device Profile to the default on the Advanced tab in Color Management.
