Does this extensionless naming convention look familiar? What program is it for?

Wacky Windows question. I recently did some work on my chiefs computer and in the process upgraded his OS from 98 to 2000Pro. The problem is his backups (that he never mentioned existed) are saved without an extension on a Zip disk. Does this naming convention look familiar to anyone: "Backup Job 4, Disk 1, 04-12-14 22.20.05.1-Step" ?

Um.... that's got an extension: ".1-Step" Which sounds an awful lot like the backup software that IOmega shipped with Zip drives

Yep, that's Iomega's "1-Step Backup" software.

Response by poster: zpousman: Yes, I have a chief. He drives a big red truck with with flashing lights... fire department.

Thanks, in retrospect it was kind of an obvious question. But you know... forest and trees and all that.
