What to do in March in EU

What are some unique things to do in Europe in March?

I'm currently based in London (US citizen) for work and will be here for all of March. In addition my wife will be here the 20th to the 28th. We are both around 30 and enjoy a wide variety of activities.

I really want to be in Ireland for St Paddys, even though I read the thread that said avoid it. I'm thinking Kinsale after reading it. I'd like to avoid renting a car.

Las Fallas would be tough as it appears to end on a Friday (the one my wife is flying over on).

Any other ideas for weekends in March that would involve a cheap flight from London, music or sporting events, some partying (need not be excessive)?

There's a 'chocolate festival' in Belfast on the 27th March, as well as the obvious 17th March festivities (getting insanely drunk).

Belfast is a pretty nice city these days surprisingly enough.

March is Starkbierzeit in Munich! (Think microscopic Oktoberfest with much, much stronger beer...)

It's not really an event, but Keukenhof in the Netherlands is only open during March through May, and it's well worth seeing. Flights from London to Amsterdam are very cheap and only an hour long, and you can go directly to Keukenhof from Schiphol by bus. And afterwards, you can party in Amsterdam. :)
