Record stores and/or vegetarian restaurants in Chattanooga, TN?

I'll be in Chattanooga for a few days soon with daytime hours to kill... Can anyone recommend local-ish (I'll have my car) record stores, especially ones with lots of old/cheap vinyl? How about vegetarian or highly veg-friendly places to eat?

I've found Sluggo's North and Country Life on the Google so far - what am I missing, locals? Are those two places any good?

Thanks a ton!

As far as eating, go to The Yellow Deli. Check out McKays for used books and music. I'm not sure if they have vinyl there, but they'd be able to tell you who does.

Edit: McKay's does appear to have old vinyls, and the staff would probably be able to tell you where there's even more.

2nd McKays for book and music needs, I really miss that place. They have a huge selection and their prices are phenomenal!

As for eating, check out The Mudpie downtown, about half the menu is vegetarian, and you can check it out online. (warning: pdf) It also surrounded by some pretty interesting shops if you have extra time. Parking used to be a pain but I think there's a garage there now, it was being built when I left. I used to park across the river at the Museum area and take the walking bridge over, its about a 7 minute walk with a great view, if you're into that sort of thing.

Have fun in Chattanooga!

Also, Lupi's has great pizza by the slice and these big salads with tons of toppings, also downtown.
