Where to print a children's book

I’d like to make a picture book for a friend’s child. Where to print it? I’d want the pages to be matte paper and the cover shiny, just like a real child’s book. I only need a single copy.

Best answer: I've used Blurb before and was thrilled with how good the results were for the price.

If you have a mac, iPhoto or Aperture will do this as well.

I can also confirm that Blurb was great. We also did a childern's book and it turned out really well. If you're anything like me, it might be a good idea to get a second book for yourself to enjoy.

Get the Blurb 7x7" book. It's crazy cheap and the photo-wrap cover is soooo great.

Putting in a plug for MyPublisher. I just ordered a couple of books through them and was happy with the quality and *thrilled* with the customer service. There are decent discounts available, particularly if you're a Costco member.
