mark and review

I have a bunch of notes in digital audio format. Is there any mobile device that would allow me to mark certain spots in the audio so I could quickly review those passages later? I'm also open to suggestions on ways to structure annotated project notes.

Most professional audio recorders will let you do this. The feature you're looking for is called track-marking. If you're on a budget, the old minidisc recorders do this as well.

Oh sorry, I thought you wanted software. embrangled is correct that most digital recorders have a track marking feature built in.
