Does anyone know a good (not too expensive) accountant in San Francisco?

My taxes are relatively uncomplicated, but just a bit too complicated for TurboTax. Anyone know a good accountant in San Francisco? If you also know how much they charge on average that would be useful.

Best answer: The Tax Ninja is a local tax attorney who does the taxes for a few pals of mine. I met him once, seems to be a good guy, and seems to know his shit. No idea how much he charges; my dad is a tax attorney and does mine for free.

We use Carolyn Tompkins of the firm Peckler, Kolling, & Tompkins. Our taxes are also probably simple enough that I could do it if I put the time in, but it feels better to have a knowledgeable expert ensure that we're doing it right. Not sure what you think of as expensive - we pay about $450.

I second Tax Ninja! He's my accountant and I love him and he hates the IRS. Also, he is a ninja.

Third Tax Ninja. Just started using him, and he's awesome.
