I love this song "Aik Alif" by Noori And Saieen Zahoor on YouTube. I love music from the Middle East/India but have no idea where to find other great songs to listen to. Any suggestions or recommendations? Here is the song on YouTube: "Aik Alif" by Noori And Saieen Zahoor

This is Pakistani pop/ sufi pop. Noori (or Noorie as it's sometimes spelled) is one of the big Pakistani teen idols. With a healthy mix of traditional devotional music from the guy who looks like a sufi musician.

The grand-daddy of this genre: Allah Allah Kar Bhaiya.

One of my favourites: Tere Ishq Nachaya by Riaz Ali Qadri. Not good sound quality, but I'm sure digging around will find more.

If that's the sort of thing you're after, let me know and I'll go through my music collection.

If you're after more traditional devotional type music, try Abida Parveen, Nusrat Fateh Ali, the Sabri Brothers.

2nding Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

If you want something more upbeat, he has been remixed to death and you might enjoy some of those tracks.

I like most of the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack, particularly Jai Ho.

I love Chaiyya Chaiyya, which according to my mp3 is by Sapna Awasthi & Sukwinder Singh, featuring Panjabi MC.
