Should I get another Vornado space heater?

I got a Vornado space heater, and *loved* it, when it worked. It broke down for a second time, and is now out of warranty. Should I get another slightly different Vornado, or try another brand?

From what I can glean from the tubes, the version I got, the digital DVH, had/has reliability problems. I'm now thinking about a cheaper, and purportedly more reliable model, the analog VH2.

Were this any other brand, I wouldn't think of going back to the well, but I've never really used a space heater that works as well as a Vornado.

Vornado and or space heater thoughts, folks?

My Vornados have been the least trouble and most effective appliances of their types I've owned - currently 2 fans and 2 humidfiers. I might try an appeal to customer service first, and then a different model if I had questions about the one I owned, but from my experience, I'd stay with the brand unless I knew of a specific other device I'd prefer.

This review says there is a recall on that model. By your post you imply it may have been repaired under warranty, but did you get a recall fix or replacement?
