Noodle/Pho Bowls? Where To Find?

Where can I find LARGE pho or noodle soup bowls? I mean the ones that they use to serve the stuff in authentic noodle shops/pho shops? I've looked everywhere - including my local asian grocers and restaurant supply stores. All they have are 28oz bowls or little bowls with chopstick holders. I'm looking for a bowl big enough for 2 or more people -- but NOT a salad bowl. I'm located in Northern NJ.

Hmm, those are in all of the Thai/Vietnamese groceries in my area. You might ask the sales clerk if they know where to find them?

take your preferred NJ Transit option into the City, and go to Win Restaurant Supply on Houston and Lafayette (right by the bleecker st 6 train and the Broadway-Lafayette BDFV trains).

If for some reason they don't have them, walk down Lafayette until you hit Canal St, take a left, and you'll find Kam Man food products, which definitely has them in the basement.

If you're too lazy to come into the city, then memail me and I'll mail them to you for money.

Best answer: You want a menudo bowl. The link is to a case of two dozen. I have the 48-ounce size and it's just like what you get pho in in restaurants. I got half a dozen from some online restaurant supply place a few years back, but can't find that small quantity online today for some reason, sorry. Here are some even bigger 60-ounce menudo bowls which you only need to buy one dozen of. Or you could just schlep into the city like Jon_Evil says and buy as many as you want off the shelf.

How about this: Melamine Asian Noodle Bowls - 7'' Unfortunately, that's for a dozen bowls.

If it were me, I'd walk into a pho shop (preferably one you frequent) and offer/beg to buy a few from them. You'll probably pay more than they pay for them from a restaurant supply store, but that would still (probably) be cheaper than buying them at a retail outlet.

If you want to be able to microwave your bowls, don't buy Melamine.
