What's a great oceanside hotel near Boca Raton?

I'm looking for a nice hotel on the ocean that's less than 2 hours from Boca Raton for a romantic new years getaway with my girlfriend, my google-fu has failed me. any recommendations?
we're in our 20s and we managed to get out of new york for a week, but now we have to get away from her family.

The Breakers in Palm Beach
The Westin Diplomat in Hollywood does very nicely if The Breakers is not affordable to you.

It's just under 2 hours away, but the Driftwood Resort in Vero Beach is lovely and really cool (and very old school Florida-kitsch). I spent New Year's Eve 1999 there with a girlfriend and some close friends and we had a fantastic time.

it's farther than you mentioned (4 hrs) but the Castillo Real hotel on St. Augustine beach is awesome.. and St. Augustine is too!
