Which games allow you to play on XBL with multiple local participants?

Which Xbox 360 games allow you to connect and play multiplayer online with one Live account, but with multiple local participants playing split-screen? For example, Halo 3 has this feature. Do any other games have this feature - or even allow you to connect and play with two valid Live accounts?

Except for the split-screen part, Bomberman Live.

Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 1 & 2 have this capability, I believe.

I'm pretty sure neither one does. You're either playing split-screen or on Xbox live, not both at once like kuperman is asking about.

Gears of War allow a split screen guest mode.

Weird. I swear to God that the first time I played MW (day after release), I was at a friend's house, we were playing two-person split screen, and we had like twelve other folks we were fighting. I *know* we were on the same team.

I would try it out and tell you for certain, but I don't have an XBox... just the PS3.

Also, the Lego games (Indiana Jones, Batman, and Star Wars).

Left 4 Dead, both the original and the sequel.

I believe many mainstream sports games (I'm thinking of the NBA 2K series) allow two local people to be playing on LIVE with other people.

Rhythm games (Rock Band etc.) are also capable of this.

Pretty sure Castle Crashers for Xbox Live Marketplace has this feature. Its a classic styled sidescrolling beat-em-up so need for split-screen

Response by poster: Netzapper, you might have been playing on System Link or using something like Kai/Xlink.

I believe it is Guests with Xbox Live that you're looking for.

Here's a list of games which support Guests with Xbox Live.

I've also done the guest thing with Castle Crashers.
