Name that song.

There is a song I've heard on Pandora that is clever and funny and about cybersex. One attribute I recall is that the singer (male) rhymes something with the lyrics, "semicolon parenthesis."

What's the title of the song, and who sings it?

Probably not the right song, but kinda cute anyway.

I swear I heard this on a Pandora station I seeded with MC Chris. Bloodhound Gang, perhaps.

MC Lars has a song called "iGeneration" that contains the line "LOL, OMG, yo, BRB / Space, colon, dash, closed parenthesis."

But it barely rhymes with anything, and the lyrics are pretty lame. Lyrics.

I'm not real familiar with their lyrics, but sounds like the style of Flight of the Concords?

Sounds like Futuristic Sex Robotz, MC Frontalot, or MC Lars to me.

Long shot, but possibly LOL by LIttle Jackie?

Response by poster: Rokusan, not that one, but funny.

I'm almost certain it's not the bloodhound gang. The style was light indie rockish; no rap feel to it, if I'm remembering right.

It would make a good Flight of the Concords song, but it's not them either.

It's not LOL by Little Jackie, but that's a fun song.

Any chance you "thumbs up"'ed it?

Response by poster: I checked, and Pandora only lists exactly 100 thumbs-upped songs. I think the last 100 I listed. I don't know how to get a full list of everything I've ever upped (or downed, for that matter). Is there a way?

Best answer: Ah! It's The Perfect Love by Parks and Recreation. Mystery solved. Thanks for helping narrow things down.
