Anyone ever used the Rockport Institute before? Was it helpful?
Their website is completely unprofessional; I assume the rest of the company is the same.

Best answer: The Pathfinder is an excellent and thoughtful guide to seeking out a career filled with passion. The Rockport center testing process & counseling is modestly helpful.

Actually as a web developer and designer I can tell you that there is almost no correlation between the quality of a website and the quality of the company behind it. Or, more accurately: if a company has an excellent website, it does not mean that they are excellent; it simply means that they were lucky enough to hire an excellent web development/design firm.

I agree completely. However, the inverse is, in my completely anecdotal experience, more highly correlated. Put another way, the website for a company is like a resume for a job applicant. I don't want to interview someone who hasn't put some time and effort into making the resume professional to contemporary standards (however low they may be).
But we digress from the point of the question. I apologize for the derail.

My instinct says "in the business of selling books to the indecisive", but that's a gut reaction.
