What was Anita Mui's role in House of Flying Daggers?

So what exactly was Anita Mui's role in House of Flying Daggers? There seems to be plenty of press on how it got written out after she died, but no mention of what exactly it was.

Wow. I just received a copy of it (in Thai) a few minutes ago. I'm at work right now, so I can't hear this video (WMV, via monkeypeaches.com) but Zhang Yimou apparently explains the role he created for her.

Come to think of it, it may be in Chinese. Perhaps another Mefite could translate it. I'm interested in knowing her role as well...
