Give me some dance inspiration!

I'll soon be putting on my dancing shoes and head out for a brand new saturday night. What new moves will inspire me? French tecktronik is great and the Beninese zinli (watch from 3:35) blows my mind - what do you suggest I bring with me out tonight?

Response by poster: (with 'new' I mean things I haven't seen before, regardless which century it comes from.)

This old Russian military proto-break-dancing was linked in another thread recently, and is pretty awesome. Maybe can't use these moves in modern club dancing, but very inspiring at least.

Try out some Baltimore street/club dancing as seen in Rye Rye's Bang and Shake it to the Ground (stay tuned for the crazy leg stuff at the end).

Unrelated to the above, most people forget about their ribcage and shoulders when dancing. Work them into your moves. I'm having trouble finding good videos of this for you but if you know how belly dancers can separate their hips from the rest of their body, try to do this with your ribcage and go crazy. Actually, belly dancers also do this. Check out Shakira in this video (especially the parts where she's covered in... motor oil?) and watch her rib cage. Oh, yeah, Shakira is also doing some crazy stuff in her new video She Wolf but I'm not sure I can recommend it, it's so bizarre.
