Anyone know where I can find a reasonably up-to-date of wage earning statistics for the US, broken down by age?

Response by poster: Yeah... looked there first, but to no avail... perhaps I missed it?

The Current Population Survey has broad age categories through 2001.

I had an econometrics professor that used raw CPS data for in-class explanations and demonstrations - including income vs. age/sex/etc. If you download and install "DataFerrett" (a free Java program from the Census Bureau), you can access the raw data from most recent CPS data (Nov 2004). The program is pretty clunky to use, but the data is there. Hope that helps.

Response by poster: Perfect... thanks, milkrate. Didn't know about DataFerrett -- I bet that'll come in handy... for something.
