Vintage Internet news stories and articles?

I enjoy vintage articles about the early days of the Web. Suggestions?
For example, The Best Cybertech of 1999 isn't exactly from the early early days but it puts into perspective where Google was at the time.

One specific old Wired article that is a good read is Mother Earth Mother Board, by Neal Stephenson, about laying a fiber optic cable encircling the globe.

I have the first couple years of Wired Magazines laying around here somewhere. My favorite piece of writing from the early days of the web is Andy Hawks FutureCulture Manifesto, aka the Bubble Manifesto.
