help me remember that 90's computer game

Looking for 90's video games I played as a kid.

The first one was Wizard of Oz themed. It stared with Dorothy in her room and once she did... something, she was able to go on to the other levels. I think there was also a level where you could color in a picture with paint.

The second game I'm trying to remember the name of I played at home on a floppy disc. There was a typing/journal portion of the game where you could change the sounds to make the typing sound like any number of different things, like an old fashioned type-writer. You could also pick out scenes and then place a variety of objects like a farm scene and you could put quails or cows etc.

This is all very vague, but its all I can remember. Anyone else know what I am talking about?

Second game sounds like Storybook Weaver by MECC.

Underdogs info, Wikipedia.

Storybook Weaver by MECC.

Haven't heard either of those names in a while! My 3rd grade public school education relied heavily on Storybook Weaver. At one point a classmate realized he could colorize a puddle of water as red, place a body on top of it and make it look as though the body was bleeding and dead. At the time this seemed like a brilliant and heroic misuse of Storybook Weaver's good intentions but in hindsight was apparently so common that it has been mentioned on the program's wiki page itself.

That second one sounds like this one I used to play that was called something like...Creative...ah, crap. Creative Something. Or Creation Something? It had this weird looking purple guy who ran the show.

Creative Studios?

That wasn't any help at all. Maybe it will trigger something for someone else?

Response by poster: Yes, Creative Writer! Brilliant! The first one still remains unsolved, it was not on that list.
