Thunderbird Extensions: I love thunderbird, but I miss OE's ability to download lots of stuff from binary groups. I used to like being able to click on ten subjects lines and it woiuld download the lot, while thunderbird only gets the most recently clicked, and seems to attempt to redownload every time you select a subject line. Any suggestions?

If you're interested in downloading stuff from binary groups, I'd recommend the freeware GrabIt. It makes downloading multiple binary files a breeze. Much easier than either OE or Thunderbird.

Response by poster: The problem is that I hate Agent. And Xnews.

I may have a partial answer to my own question - highlight the posts and tell it to copy them to a local folder.

Any less clunky alternatives are welcome.

And, yes, I'll go look at Agent again too...

If I could suggest an alternative reader as well, PowerGrab is a phenomenal tool for it -- I've tried a lot of the more popular ones, and they all seem to be geared at downloading images as a first design goal, and everything else second, whereas PG is just easy to use for all of it.

Very fast, too, and practically bug-free (it's no TeX, but few apps are)
