Odd blogs, please?

Mefites, please show me the oddest blogs you have ever seen?

I am going to be leading a discussion at work and as part of that discussion, I would like to show some examples of odd or eccentric blogs. You know, when you hit the “next blog” button and something pops up and you think “Why would anyone spend any time putting that up of the web?” Like scans of tractor catalogs from the 70s or pictures of home-made clay models of imaginary beetles (I actually saw that once and have not been able to find it again). In English would be best, but I’ll take other languages if the intent and weirdness is universal.

Thanks

Best answer: http://statueswithsideburns.blogspot.com/

Despite the rather spare content, I really kind of love this blog.

Oh I saw a great one in Projects the other day: The Thumping Guide to New York City, a video blog of the author 'banging on the city's most resonant protrusions'.

The Abysmal.

And FWIW, I get a lot of comments of this nature about my blog (link in profile).

Best answer: WalMart receipts.

Unphotographable. Descriptions of photos not taken.

Very ancient, a vintage blog, from WAY back in the days before blogs (like 1995 or 1996): The Loser Living Upstairs. What started as a complaint journal about the idiot upstairs eventually becomes the author's diary of life in California and then Hawaii over the span of many years. The oddness is not exactly the content as much as it is the theme and era.

In the TimeCube/Alex Chiu vein of "delusional person blogs about their delusions," I think that the work of Wayne Manzo is often underrated.

And for a single blog entry that made me "WTF", let me recommend "Sick and Tired of Amputee Elitism", a rant about how people who want to have healthy extremities amputated act like the 'cool kids' to people who want to be deaf or something.

Surprisingly enough, that blog had a really active and entertaining comments section.

Zachary Quinto's everyday life showcases photoshops of the actor's face on various pop culture icons. It was the first thing that came to mind, though in comparison to some of the above suggestions, the oddness seems relatively tame.

Sadly (or not) I can't find the link to it now but a few months ago I came across (no pun intended) a blog where a guy posted every time he jacked off. Each post would contain a picture of his ejaculate, often on the print out of a photo he'd printed off the Internet. The post text would describe his jacking off session in detail. Easily the most disturbing blog I've seen so far. Just wanted to share so you know this sort of thing exists..

Best answer: NSFW. Women and Carp. Kinda pre-blog internet but a curious collection nonetheless of partially clad women posing with carp.

Gumwrapper documents Gary's gum wrapper chain.

Response by poster: Brilliant! I knew I could count on you guys and gals. Can't use the nsfw stuff and I'm going to go with sites that focus on images rather than words for this. But, I am bookmarking all answers for personal use.
