Dremel tool & attachments dilemma

I have a Dremel Multipro Variable Speed model 395 type 5, a 575 right angle attachment, an EZ545 1.5" Diamond cutting wheel, and a 220-01 WorkStation. My problem is that the right angle attachment isn't compatible with the workstation because the workstation is effectively an attachment itself (both screw in the same place).

I need the right angle attachment because it offers more clearance for the wheel than when the wheel is attached directly. I need the workstation because it affords more control than handling the tool manually.

Any suggestions on what to do?

Is there any way you could use the flexible extension and rig it up to the workstation? (I'm just guessing - I never could get the extension working.)

There must be some way to strap the tool to the work-station without using the intended screws, if setting the station to mount the Dremel horizontally won't work. How 'bout cable-ties?
