Are there more songs like these?

Looking for songs in the musical/strumming vein of DCFC's "I'll Follow you Into the Dark" and Earlimart's "The Little Things".

Hello, good people.

I play guitar (not a guitarist, I just play it), and am very much fond of learning songs with many difficult chors. Yeah I know.

But I also love these two songs, Death Cab For Cutie's "I'll Follow you Into the Dark" (video) and Earlimart's "The Little Things" (gn, can't find it online. It's from the "Mentor Tormentor" album).

This two songs, while thematically different, have the same(ish) strumming pattern, along with the same very simple chords (Am C G F E...). I find this very refreshing, and would like to find more songs like these, for these time when I don't feel like making things complicated.

Any suggestions welcome. Spotify, Deezer or any link to an online audio version is very much appreciated :)

Thanks a lot!

Bah. That was supposed to be "I have no guitar experience. Nevertheless... "

90% of Mountain Goats songs are like this. Holland, 1945 by Neutral Milk Hotel is fun and simple.

The song that reminds me most of "I'll Follow you Into the Dark" is this. (Don't laugh at me. My...um...kids like it. But you must admit, the mustache is awesome.)

i liken "Lua" by Bright Eyes to "I'll Follow You Into the Dark".
Listen here.

then again, i have no musical experience. i just like both songs, and they 'feel' the same to me.

"Lua" and "First Day of My Life" are good simple Bright Eyes songs to learn. I love playing them both.
