Has anyone ordered from Lik-Sang? How'd it work out for you?

My wife is dying for a limited-edition pink GameBoy Advance SP. I don't trust eBay for that sort of thing. Has anyone ordered from Lik-Sang? How'd it work out for you?

I ordered my Onyx SP from Lik-Sang (this was before the blue/platinum SPs came out in the US) and they were a treat to deal with. Reasonable prices, helpful staff, and (best of all) prompt replies to my nervous "ordering something internationally for the first time" emails.

A++ WILL USE AGAIN!

I've ordered a couple things from Lik-Sang over the years and didn't have a problem. Go for it.

I love Lik-Sang, but if you have any problems please be aware that customer service happens very much on their own time. I recently ordered a GamePark from them which turned out to be from a batch with some screen problems, it took most of a week to hear a reply, and I have been waiting 2.5 weeks for RMA instructions.

Apart from this most recent experience -- which is exceptional, because it's not a single defective unit but part of a bad batch -- I've always been extremely happy to do business with Lik-Sang.

A couple of months before the US release of the GBA, I bought one from Lik-Sang and they were reasonably priced, and shipped right away. My biggest complaint about them is that (for what appear to be fair reasons) they no longer sell flash carts and programmers. They were the most reputable vendor of them!

Response by poster: Excellent, thanks all. I'm not sure I can get it done by Xmas, but she'll be so happy it shouldn't matter.

Only one problem with Lik-Sang (and not their fault)...customs in Alaska held my package and called me to ask what it was and what it was for (its electronics....for electrically tronning things) otherwise a great retailer. (btw, this was the second order that came from Hong Kong which customs hassled me over).

If you are getting a GBA SP I can't stress the need for a 1GB Flash2Advance enough...I can emulate GB/NES/PCE/SMS and some MAME and SNES games, read text files, watch movies and listen to music on Geeba (my GBA SP) all through a custom GUI called PogoShell.

Here are some good links for you. The first two links are info on what a blank GBA cart is/can do, the latter is a place to get one...tho do shop around ;¬)
