Slideshow program for Windows PC

Question for a friend about slideshow programs for Windows PCs. She needs a slideshow display that will show the most recently downloaded picture (IE: newest image in the folder) and is pretty easy to use. Free is better, but not required. Her specific request in her own words inside.

Ask me to clarify if something doesn't make sense. (I can pass questions on to her)

I have a monitor hooked up to my laptop as a second display. I also have my camera hooked up to my laptop, instantly downloading when I take a picture. What I need is a program that can "show newest image in folder" where the folder is where the camera images are downloading AND! be able to refresh itself, so that when I take a new picture, it shows up accordingly, as it is now the newest image. This program will be displayed in the monitor while I work on other things in the laptop.

It needs to be pretty hands off once it's started.

Response by poster: She says she has a Canon EOS and further asks:

" Can you make the newest image full or almost full screen? A real preview versus 15 images on the screen at once (once they're taken)?

(because I have the Canon XT and EOS, I'm just new to this whole laptop extra technology fandangle thing, oi) "
