Weekly rental in Palo Alto - Menlo Park

I'm house hunting in the Palo Alto - Menlo Park area, and looking for a reasonably nice (not a motel) rental (on a week x week basis)...any suggestions?

Response by poster: Oops...guess I should emphasize I'm looking for PERMANENT housing, the week to week rental is to buy time while I look. Thanks!

I don't know about weekly, but you can get a monthly rental at Park Place South in Mountain View (one town over.) It's reasonably nice and right on downtown Castro. This is where I lived when I moved out here a few years ago.

Prometheus also appears to have a bunch of other buildings in other towns, including Palo Alto.

You might try vrbo.com (Vacation Rentals by Owner). The website just connects you with the owner and then you make your own deal. I have found quite a few places to stay through them and been generally happy with the results. This one seems like it might work.

Dinah's is quite nice and they have a poolside restaurant.
