Reasonably-priced insurance for hearing aids

I'm seeking insurance for my hearing aids that won't bankrupt me.

I need insurance to cover my hearing aids if they fail, get broken or lost which won't bankrupt me.

The insurance provided by the manufacturer is super expensive and my regular insurance company which I use for personal property, liability, my home and autos won't touch it.

As a former HIS , many clients used ESCO Depending on the value of your hearing aids and the age of the aid, determines your quote.

I live in FL with all the hot sweaty humid weather. A repair on my aids (digital, BTE) would run roughly $600 with a 1 year warranty. Each of my aids costs $4500 (and had a 1 year warranty)

Just loss and accidental damage would run $300 for a year of coverage.
Loss/damage and Repair insurance is $454 yearly.

For me, not a bad deal as I almost always have some issue or other every year on one or the other(and I maintain them with professional equipment.)

If you have less expensive analog aids, then perhaps the cost as a percentage of the value doesn't make as much sense, but your lifestyle and other factors may point to a higher likelihood of potential situations where this would come in handy.

YMMV
