Trying to find a documentary about whirlpools

I am trying to hunt down a documentary I saw around 5-10 years ago which was all about whirlpools and maelstroms.

It was very interesting, and included the following segments that I can recall:

An island in the mouth of a bay which had a very rapid waterflow due to tides. The island had been reported to shake violently.

An area where an undersea cliff caused an immense downwards flow of water. Divers went down to check it out and found the bottom scoured of sand - and they also had to be quick about returning to the boat, as the tide was about to cause the downflow. They dropped a dummy into the water attached to steel line, to measure what would happen to a person who fell in.

Assorted experiments towing boats through whirlpools near bridges, etc.

I'd love to see it again but I don't seem to be able to find it. I saw it on cable TV, but have no idea what channel it was on.

Best answer: Probably The Discovery Channel if you're in the US. Check out the 2nd paragraph under the heading "Corryvreckan" on this page. Is that it?
