More inside the inside!

WikiFilter: I'm looking for personal Wiki software. (The more, they say, shall be found inside....)

Rightyo. Here's the requirements:

1) Datestamps: I need this to function basically as a cross-referenceable diary/journal, so being able to find stuff by date will be necessary.

2) Wiki functions: I also need to be able to use some way of highlighting certain words so that I can look up all applicable information on those particular words with at most one or two clicks.

3) Embedded images: Self-explanatory, really; I really need to be able to include images in each entry (bonus points for being able to tag wikiwords to the images, thus including them in the database).

4) Multiple font support in each page.

5) Free, or cheap cheap cheap shareware, cuz I am teh_broke.

I've got Digital Diary, which is great for organizing entries by date, and WikidPad, which is good for cross referencing (it'll autmagically create links between words typed LikeThis and LikeThis, which is great). Unfortunately, WikidPad doesn't support images, though that's a planned feature, sometime in the future.

Anyone have any ideas? My Google-fu isn't very good, though I did flip through the directories and a web search. I figure one of you might be able to do better.

Cheers!

Check out DokuWiki ... While it's not aimed at what you're using it for, I think it does most of what you're looking for since it's meant to be used as an every-day thing. Setup is astoundingly painless since it doesn't require a database.

Response by poster: Oh, er... Sorry. Should have specified: Am running Windows XP, so that would be necessary. DokuWiki looks like it's getting pretty close to the mark, though. Thank you.

never mind me.
just marking this so I can easily find if there's an answer later. actually, wikipad looks like it'd be good enough for me, but I don't really want one enough to pay.

Response by poster: Yeah, wikidpad is pretty damn cool, and very useful. If it would just include embedded images, I'd be all over it like Bill Clinton on a blue dress.

Maybe try looking at instiki, which requires Ruby. It has a cool feature that will output a wiki page to a pdf.

Response by poster: No.. that is, unfortunately, even further off the mark. I don't want HTML, really. Thank you, though!
