Sitting On Air

I've been sitting on a swiss ball (gym ball) for a few weeks and whilst I've found it's improved my pousture I like the look of the Isokinetics Fitness Ball Chair and the Gaiam BalanceBall they both don't ship to the UK. Could someone please point me in the direction of an alternative product which has stockist's in the UK?

Looks like the Gaiam is a UK product & there's a store (stockist) ~20 miles from where you live:

George Fisher LTD

Best answer: I have no idea this is true, but I feel like I'd read it in certain places. Supposedly these chairs defeat the purpose of sitting on a balance ball in the first place. Without the legs, you are constantly working your core muscles to keep yourself from rolling off the ball. When you have these legs on them, the ball is much more stable, so you can relax your muscles a lot more, which will inevitably lead to slouching.

Of course, I'm not a doctor and not even remotely associated with the medical field. It'd be something that you could look into.

One quick Google search produced this link: http://www.thefreelibrary.com/The+Exercise+Ball+Chair-a01073813182
