I need some help coming up with metal/dog puns. "Dog breath to false metal". Things like that.

More that I've thought of:
Heavy metal barking lot
I want to break fleas
Livin' after midnight, barkin' till the dawn (not so sure about this one)
EYEHEARTDOG

Any genre of metal, maybe even some punk rock and hardcore and whatnot.

Best answer: I don't think you've given us enough information to answer the question. It really depends on what genre of dog metal you're talking about. Thrash Dog Metal centers around chewy toys, stuffed animals, things like that. Power Dog Metal is about wrestling other dogs at the park, chasing after cars. Hair Dog Metal is about putting one leg up on the couch and humping it. There really is a wide variety.
