trying to make a font, having problems

what's wrong with my font?
Hello.
I have created a font to use in a program I am writing.
This is the first time I have made a font. I drew the letters in illustrator and and imported the shapes into font forge (on osx leopard)
I tried to export my font in a number of formats, but font book doesn't like any of them. I've used font book's validate file option, which found no errors. But font book won't install the file.
any suggestions?

windows xp, looks ok to me. The only present glyphs are the uppercase letters, right?

Response by poster: thanks for having a look at it for me.
yep only upper case,
I've been able to preview it on one leopard machine, but can't get it to actually install.

It installed fine on OS X Leopard for me, so if there is a problem, it seems to not be to do with the font!

Response by poster: oh,

On this computer (Windows XP, German) the lower-case characters are only showing the top half, for whatever reason. I know they weren't meant to be displayed, but I thought I'd mention this wonkiness.

The people at typophile.com's Build forum will be able to answer these questions better than anywhere else on the internet.

I used it in TextEdit, but I had to switch from "English" to "All Fonts" in the Font palette before I saw it. It is behaving a little weirdly - I had to keep Caps on to keep it from switching back to Monaco.
