Japanese Classes/Bootcamps in Los Angeles

Japanese Classes/Bootcamps in Los Angeles? I'm looking at possibly spending a lot of time in Japan in little over a year, I'm going to be studying very intensely on my own as well. I'm worried that I'd sign up and pay for a class and it be kind of casual and not geared towards those looking to really learn the language. Thanks!

Nearly all decent language schools offer an introductory/trial lesson. Ask to sit in on a lesson. If the school doesn't meet your standards, find another one.

In general, though, most language schools are about as serious as you make them. If you are serious about studying the language, your teacher will likely recognize that. Having to pay for lessons is one of those things that tends (at least a little bit) to weed out people who aren't very serious.
