Is it possible to buy Coach Canada tickets when I board the coach, which will be late on a Sunday night at either Toronto Pearson airport or the Toronto downtown bus station (depends on what time my flight gets in), or do I need to book in advance?

whenever i've taken Coach Canada, i've been able to buy my tickets from the driver -- but this in St. Catharines, where not many people boarded the bus at the time i took it, and where the bus terminal doesn't stay open as late.

the Toronto bus terminal (at Bay/Dundas) is open from 5 am - 1 am, 7 days a week.

you can call to confirm if you're still hesitant: 416-393-7911

if you're not able to call because it's long distance, i can give them a call for you.

You're just going from the airport to downtown? Take the TTC. You take the 192 Airport Rocket to Kipling station, and then take the subway to downtown. You only need $2.75 cash as there is no where to buy TTC tickets in the airport.

It can be a bit hard to find the bus stop, since the signage wants you to take a taxi. From terminal #1 you head down two levels and you should be able to see the bus stops. (Not positive about terminal #3, but I believe the bus is on the lower level.)

Response by poster: No, I'm headed for Kingston. If my flight gets in on time and I make it through immigration quickly then I will be able to get a coach directly from the airport to Kingston. If I'm more than 15 or 20 minutes late then I will get to Kingston quicker if I get to the downtown coach station and take the coach from there. This is why I don't want to buy a ticket in advance — I know my destination, but I don't know where I'm starting!

i just found this on the Coach Canada website, if you leave from Pearson:

"Purchase tickets on Arrival Level at
Toronto Airport Express Ticket Kiosks
T1-inside @ escalator
T3-outside between area 25 & 27 @ curb"

otherwise, it indicates that you would need to buy them from the terminal (if you leave from downtown).
