Is it possible to recover my own password-protected files without the password?

A few years ago I kept a diary on 3.5 floppies in password- protected word files. I found the floppies at my parent's house this weekend, but of course I don't know the password now. Any way that I can recover the files? I checked google, can't really find anything that makes sense to me.

Throw the above Google search in quotes and you can eliminate 784,800 results, if that helps any. On a longshot, have you tried "unicorn" or "haiku"?

When the prompt comes up saying 'Do you know the password?' the correct answer is 'No.'

Throw a "free" in front of the above google search in quotes and you get a bunch of liars and some fetish porn.
This one however, looks legit and has a free trial period.
