Games Workers Play

Busy, busy! Does anybody know of worthwhile (preferably free) PC games (online or downloadable) that resemble work? I sometimes use a spreadsheet version of Freecell, but wonder if there might be other ones that make me look industrious while having fun.

They don't look like work, but "tinygames" are itsy bitsy (about an inch square) versions of games like chess, checkers, space invaders, tetris etc. Their web site is gone now, but you can still find them floating around the net. Here for example (links at bottom of the page).

Response by poster: Otis thanks! I'll be taking a look at those Excel beasties for sure. I'd already loved the tinygames all to bits (so to speak), especially the maze one.

Orange Goblin- I have a screen that faces out into a high traffic area, and a boss who judges me based on what is on my screen, even during breaks. Nice to look conscientious always!

How about nethack? Play it the way it's meant to be - in ascii characters - and it looks like work. It takes some time to learn, but after that it's a good addiction.
