Mobile software for the mobile traveller?

What applications/software for your mobile device did you find useful/essential for travelling?

I will be travelling initially around Europe and then who knows.... I have an iMate JasJam phone running Windows Mobile 6 but would acquire another device if this will be more suitable for running useful applications.

GPS software. My phone doesn't have built-in GPS, so I got a key fob GPS unit and it works very well. After that, just the usual stuff - email, etc.

Best answer: All free: Skype for Windows Mobile, Google Maps for Mobile, MoDaCo NoData (turns off your expensive data connection when out of your home country), SmartPhone Tracker (in case your phone is lost or stolen), WeFi (find and connect to wifi hotspots), MetrO (public transport guide for tons of cities worldwide).
