I need to learn VBScript fairly quickly. What are some stand-out print or online VBScript resources?

Best answer: I have VBScript in a Nut's Hell. (The first edition, though.) If you know at least one programming language already, this will tell you all the things you need to know about VBScript.

Best answer: Hey Scripting Guy! will have everything you ever wanted to know about using VBS with Windows. I use this so much I probably owe them for bandwidth.

Best answer: DevGuru's VBScript reference, if you already know the basics of programming languages.

MSDN Library for more depth.

Best answer: I always used W3Schools free tutorial, first as a learning tool and then as a reference.

Best answer: I agree with all of these suggestions.

I would like to make an addition: VBScript is a fairly small language. What you will be interested in is the skillions of Windows objects you can summon up and use within VBScript. Many of them are quite magical, in more than one sense of the word. It's all about the objects.
