Help me find that music video!

Need help remembering a music video a bit like the ThruYOU one.

must have been late 90s or just around the Millenium: I saw a music video where you could see a jazz band (I think in front of a velvet curtain - or something similar). now the music style was kind of acid jazz electronic music and made up of jazz samples. and whenever the sample was heard one could see corresponding musician play that sample - over and over again...

i really liked this - but I've never seen the video again. and I remembered it when I saw the ThruYOU video recently. it's quite similar, although the musicians in the thru-you video are not "in the same band".

anybody? this has been a burning quest for me for such a long time. thanks in advance and I apologize for my clumsy English.
